First, we would like to thank the organizing team of the ERN 2023 for the perfect organization and of course also all visitors, who joined us for lively and stimulating discussions, which made the ERN 2023 to a great success. In total, about 4000 visitors attended the ERN 2023 and there was a great interest in the ADAPT project during the entire event. Also this year, we presented different potato varieties and reported about first results from this year’s field trials and glass house experiments. Especially for children we had also hands-on activities in a simple experiment, where starch in the potato tuber could be stained with iodine reagent.
